This statue is located in the center of the campus near the Cafeteria and Office buildings. In our day, the Key Club had the responsibility for the care of the live bobcat that attended athletic events, and pep rallies. I wonder if there is still a live bobcat!! Well, I got an answer to the question about a live bobcat and sadly it seems that there is no longer a live bobcat. Rachel Hobson from Central High School responded to my email about the situation, but she didn't know when the tradition was ended.
